ThinkVisibility: more than just SEO

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

This weekend saw the first ever ThinkVisibility conference, at Old Broadcasting House in good old Leeds. I have to admit, I’m not a snake SEO so a big part of me buying a ticket was to support my friend Dominic Hodgson.

But, as the speakers were announced it became apparent what an excellent job Dom had done in sorting out the line-up. From top-class SEOs and affiliate marketers to Geekup’s very own Rob Lee, every talk had something to offer (and it was hard to choose which to attend).

My favourite was Peter Cooper’s (he of Ruby Inside fame). He had a long rambling talk about the tactics and traits of those who inspire him, starting with Hitler (hey, you may not like his ideas but you know what he stands for) through to Gary Vaynerchuk.

Overall, it was a great day out; lots of fun and I learnt a lot too. Congratulations Dom and get ready for the next one (in September). Lastly, if you can’t get enough of Mr Hodgson (or me) then we’re broadcasting Techietubbies live, over the interwebs, tomorrow (Monday 8th March) at 8pm UTC.

Think Visibility

Saturday, December 20th, 2008

The irrepresible Dominic Hodgson is organising his very own conference in March 2009.

It’s all about SEO, marketing and those dirty things us coders try not to get involved with :-) Of course, I will be there.

So why not give Think Visibility a go? You may just learn something.
